An opportunity exists at GRS – Head Office for a Personal Assistant with the following requirements:


Main purpose of the Job

The incumbent will manage all executive assistant functions for the Executive Team in line with the company’s requirements.


Qualifications, Experience, Attributes

  • Grade 12/Matric PLUS a certificate or diploma in business administration/secretarial.

  • A degree is advantageous.

  • A project management certificate is a plus.

  • 2-3 years experience in a similar role

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft Office

  • Ability to problem solve, analyse and meet deadlines

  • Strong Administration skills including minute taking

  • Must have exceptional verbal and written skills

  • Be highly professional

  • Embraces and lives the company values.

  • Accountable for service delivery through own efforts.

  • Collaborates effectively with others to achieve personal results

  • Individually accountable for managing own time, tasks and output quality.

  • Makes increased contributions by broadening individual skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Advanced Excel, Power Point, Outlook (Including, creating spreadsheets, Experience of working at a senior level, with good communication skills with both external parties and business audiences.

  • Experience of working in a service environment and liaising with all levels of employees and stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Drafting and writing high quality reports

  • Draft, review and send communications on behalf of company executive(s)

  • Communicating with shareholders support team

  • Screen calls, manage confidential information and handle issues with discretion

  • Assist with other responsibilities such as events planning; ordering of stationery; ordering of refreshments; booking of flights and accommodation and processing of expense claims.

  • Liaise with attorneys, accounting officers and bankers

  • Assist with Marketing and CRM functions

  • Maintain various records and documents for company executive(s)


Remuneration is commensurate with Company Policy
